commenting
A form for posting your responses appears at the bottom of each page -- or you should click "reply" on an existing comment if you are joining a discussion already in progress (so the posts will be organized in the right order). You can submit comments anonymously (to circumvent spam, anonymous comments must be approved be me before they will appear on the page), but I would appreciate your efforts all the more if you would take a moment to create an account at this site so your contributions can be associated with your username. Not only does this make it clear whos saying what, it makes it possible for me to contact and credit you if I wish to cite your comments in any published work. This is my personal site with no advertisers, and I promise not to spam you or share your information. Note that comments are public; if you have something youd like to say to me privately, feel free to email me.
email notifications
If you create a username and log in, you can sign up to get automated emails whenever something is added to a "page." To opt in, click the "subscribe" link at the bottom (you need to do this on each post you're interested in). This is especially useful if you've posted a comment and want to be notified when you receive a reply (your subscriptions are listed/managed here -- so you can also use this to maintain a bookmark list of sorts). Alternately, you can sign up to receive notification emails about ALL new content and/or comments posted at this site: get notified. These two features are somewhat redundant, so you might want to choose one or the other.
Please contact me if you have problems or questions about using this site.
